Weather Shield Rotted Sill Restoration

Window repair can be very involved and requires attention to detail. You do not want your window to leak water into the cavity of your home. This will create costly water damage, excess humidity and eventually mold.

After repairs are complete, you now have a fully functional casement window. This was a Weather Shield Casement Window with Solid Oak interior and Aluminum Clad exterior. The bottom frame had heaved upward from unavoidable ground settling and had caused the window sash to rub on the sill when operating it.

Eventually the window leaked water past the sash into the frame which then rotted causing major frame damage and resulting in a completely non-operational window unit. A replacement window unit would have cost about 10 times more than the cost of the repair.

Free EstimateDid we mention that this was happening to 27 windows in the house? The home owner saved over $50,000 and now has every window in his home working like new again.
